| I think I prefer the first shell Gary and your still life with apples is looking good _________________ No matter how advanced your camera you still need to be responsible for getting it to the right place at the right time and pointing it in the right direction to get the photo you want.

| I too like the first shell best Gary, the apples are lovely - think the cinnamon sticks would repay moving more centre stage, little bit on the edge of the picture where they are. |

| The first shell has a whiter, more delicate look, it's the better of the two, which are both excellent! I agree about the cinnamon sticks, maybe they'd look good coming out from beneath the apples toward tthe foreground? But still a very nice shot as is! _________________ 'may your light be bright and may the birds linger longer'

| The first shell looks crisper and sharper in detail especially on the right hand fringe, the second one looks a little blurred there, bet both are the same image reallly hehe. Totally agree about the cinamon sticks but figure by the time you do the months contest image you will have perfected still life lol. Sure looks like a promising starting point though.

| I,m well and truely out of my depth, not really evan qualified to offer an opinion, but visually the Apples stand out beautifully - terrific lighting. Apologies for my lack of experience. Cheers Tony. |

| Apples look very promising, like the first shell best, can see we are going to have to pull something special out of the bag to win this one. Regards Richard |

| Yes. I'll go with the first shell Gary. As for the apples I've been planning something with apples as well. I'll have to try something else. Monty. _________________ Standing on the shoulders of giants.
