Canvas Wrap

Always wanted to have a go at this, made simple frame, saw, glue and panel pins.

Picked a colour to fit in with decor and chose 3 flower pics from my photos, a little photoshop and printed to A4 canvas, positioned and stapled to frame folding corners inward, then taped over staples.

They look pretty good and have received a few complements from visitors, may try an A4 print and frame to keep as much size as possible, A3 printer next, well maybe.

Thanks

Richard

OK! How did I do it. First step was to download from Adobe an action to create an old photo effect. This will take a coloured photo and age it with a sepia type tone. Next this was blended using overlay with the postcard image (thanks to Borealnz on Flickr for the postcard http://www.flickr.com/photos/borealnz/).

A grotty texture was added over the top to further age the image and then a layer mask applied to bring out the stamp and keep it green.

The address was added in a separate ...
