| Angela I like the idea but it's a bit dark on the right hand side outside of the bubble _________________ No matter how advanced your camera you still need to be responsible for getting it to the right place at the right time and pointing it in the right direction to get the photo you want.

| Hi Angie, Agree with Mike - to a point, but if you "Flip" it, photograph in "Portrait" mode, get rid of the darker area your onto a WINNER !! make a beautiful Christmas Card to grace any home. !!..Terrific photography. All the bestTony. |

| Interesting that you say that as I have deliberately darkened the edges - the right side became darker than the left, as it was already a pretty dark area. Probably would put the greeting in that area. But I'll have a play and see what emerges. |

| Although it is a striking image, for me, it looks a little too dark and gloomy for a Christmas card, if you imagine how it would sit alongside other cards. Perhaps making the background leaves a brighter or lighter green would help ? And some robins, snowmen and pointsettias ! - only joking ! Regards, Mike |

| Perhaps if you can try to imagine a 'Merry Christmas' printed in Red. The red is then 'treated' so that it shines, and some frosting added. The dark really is necessary for that to show up to best advantage. |

| Great job Angie, like the text over the darker area, I would like to have seen a little more detail in the white area of the flower. You can send one to me no bother. Regards Richard |

| Hi Angie - that makes all the difference, much better and refreshingly different from ordinary cards. Did you lighten the green leaves or is that just an affect of the red border making it look different ? Regards, Mike |

| It's just the red border Mike and the additional festive bits - the photo remained unchanged. |

| Very good job Angie. I wasn't too struck on the original picture, but adding the festive bits has brought it into it's own. Well done. Monty. _________________ Standing on the shoulders of giants.
